No water at door and ice maker stopped working.

To troubleshoot problem, with water supply off, I tested for voltage at the valves while requesting water form the door. All valves had voltage. Since both water and ice stopped I suspected the main valve. I bypassed the valve and water worked. Ordered the valve. Installed with the two screws. Attached the water lines and plugged in the electrical connector. Turned on the supply and then there was water! As always, use care when working with electricity - particularly around water.
