We purchased our appliances when we built our home in 2003 and we have always had warranty contracts on them, but the warranties have all expired. We thought dishwashers were 'cheap' and we were wrong! Our assumption is that a broken handle could be repaired by ourselves! The posts on Parts were so accurate! With a set of Torx wrenches and the new part (which is better made and heavier duty than the original) the dishwasher was back in operation in about 15 minutes! Shut off the power! Take out all of the Torx screws, remove the connections making special note of which side is which in the connections. Slap in the new handle, connect the power connections and place back the Torx screws (11 of them on the plastic inside of the door!) This was a great website and I am sure with a faulty ice maker in the freezer we will be back for more parts and helpful advice! Thanks partselect!
