I used a small flat-blade screwdriver to pry off the grey cap on the dial. Then I pulled off the other parts of the dial. Using a star-shaped socket driver, I removed the screws to the controller housing. I unplugged the old timer unit and slid it out of the housing. I put in the new timer unit, slid it into the housing, plugged it in, and reversed the steps above. The timer works perfectly now! Thanks PartSelect for helping me choose the right part and for the diagrams.
