Removed the cardboard backboard at the rear base of the refrigerator, using a nutdriver the hex screws. Pulled off the old "start-device" from the compressor tank. Plugged the wires into the new device and then plugged the assembly back onto the pins on the compressor tank. Replaced backboard.
