First I read the reviews on this problem. I thought it was the door gasket, but after reading what the others had described it seemed to point to the detergent door latch grommet/boot. Because we had wood veneer on the front dishwasher panel and toe kick to match our cabinets when the water leaked it made the wood wet and stained. I installed the original black aluminum panels to the front and kick that I saw where the water was coming from. So it made sense that it wasn't the door gasket. That saved me an extra $41.00+ . To replace the grommet you remove the 6 screws on the inner door panel. Remove 2 screws that hold the rinse container and door latch assemby. Remove the old latch grommet. Making sure that the new grommet boot or protruded end points to the door latch hook, toward the interior of the dishwasher. I n retrospect I should have purchased the gasket for the rinse container where it protrudes through the panel. It leaked and I had to disassemble everything again to reposition the gasket-a new one that may have had more body to it. Make sure you turn off the power at the circuit breaker and double check as mine was incorrectly marked as the garbage disposal circuit.
