We first removed all the screws to get access to the water acuator. We then needed to remove the upper electric panel to get to the acuator. After this we removed the piece completely including the water hose in order to access the piece. We ended up completely removing the panel from the refrigerator and worked from the kitchen table. We did not unplug the refrig or turn off the water- probably should be done. Unscrewed the2 screws to remove the broken piece. Becareful with the wires and make sure to remove the ones associated with the broken piece. Once all this was completed it was time to put everything back together again. We fed up more of the water hose from the bottom of the refrigerator. This will need to be done since there is not much slack when trying to put back in the water line. We then needed to reattach the panel concerning the lights for ice, water etc. Just then reattach and place screws.
