Product Description

Drip Bowl - 8 Inch Specifications

The surface element or the coil surface element transfers heat to the area on top of the range. The element is 8 inches in diameter. If your surface element does not heat, overheats, or is inconsistent, replacing this part can be the solution. If you would like to determine whether the element is defective, use a multimeter. Before installing your new element, make sure that the drip bowl is properly aligned with the notch of the pan. Insert new element into the reciprocal at a 40 degree angle. Refer to the instructions provided by the manufacturer for more guidance.

Slot to small
What I had to do was open the slot for the burner pan more as it would not fit properly in. So we snip the burner pan a little and now it fits great.

Blackened and rusted drip bowls on range.
Pulled out heating elements, removed old drip bowls, replaced with new drip bowls, re-connected heating elements. Done! Looks like a new stove!

Previous home owners replaced 3 drip bowls with wrong style
I removed the heating elements and the drip bowls (wrong style). I then positioned the correct drip bowls on the stove and reinserted the heating elements. I snapped the heating coils into the small slots on the far side of the bowls to make sure that the heating elements would lay flat.
The whole process took less than 2 minutes.
