The timer on the Maytag washing machine was opetating erratically and would not complete wash cycles.

First I removed 3 torx screws that hold the control panel to the top of the machine. Next I removed the timer control knob by gently pulling it off. I had to remove all the other setting knobs to release an inner panel on the control panel. Finally I removed a wiring harness from the timer and gently slid the timer off fron its mounting tabs on the inner panel. Installation was exactly the reverse. It was really a simple job.
