Warmig light switch broke causing loss of stove burner

First I unplugged the electrial connect then removed the side and top cover, removed two small screws underneath the tube light, then unplugged the damaged switch, marked the three wires, ordered the part (got the right one the first time from this website) and then connected the wires, placed the switch in the control panel, secured the screws, put the light bulb and covers back in place and reconnected the power supply.
Switch worked and the stove element was back in operation. I reallly like the ease of finding the part and I will be back if I need something in the future.
