I removed the drawer then removed the ice maker by removing 3 screws. After that I removed 4 screws in each slide bracket then i removed the 4 screws holding the metal backer plate. I removed the motor and pulled the fan off the old motor and pressed onto the new. Then i reversed to put back together.
