Because I kept having to turn off Ice maker, the compressor switch would blow out. I'd tried replacing the Bin Thermistor, but problem persisted. When I replaced the Bin Thermistor THIS time, I did NOT bend it, like the diagram. I left it in its manufactured shape (a 'horseshoe') and now ...
My Ice Maker works PERFECTLY! Yippee!
If you have a Jenn-Air Ice Maker, do NOT bend the Bin Thermistor in the shape it is when unit comes from Factory.
