Top agitator did not work

Took the top off with screwdriver. Took the next cover off with long pliers. Noticed pieces of plastic broken off in next section. Looked up the whirlpool web site and it pointed me in the direction of the agitator repair kit. From that , I knew I had my fix.
Ordered the part. It arrived in a few days. Replaceing the parts took me about one half hour. Tested the machine with a load of wash. All fixed.
