On Sunday I removed the wet, unspun clothes, moved the washing machine outside the laundry room to the garage, looked up the schematic and read comments on this site. I disassembled the motor and agitation assemby with simple tools and ordered the coupling parts standard delivery. The parts arrived Tuesday! I cleaned off soap scum and residue from the agitator, bleach and softener components in the drum, reassembled the drive unit with light grease on the shaft, and had two loads of clean clothes put away before hitting the sack Tuesday evening. The washer looks and acts like new. This site gave me the confidence and details to get it done myself. I hope the same is true for you.
