This Eaton style gas oven safety valve ensures that no gas is released until the igniter has received the proper voltage needed to ignite the gas range. This valve has a 3/8 of an inch inlet flare as well as a 3/8 of an inch outlet flare, and should be used in conjunction with a flat style oven igniter.
