It does not collect water anymore. Is there a filter in this machine?
For model number AD40DSL1
Hi Daryl, thank you for contacting us. Your model does not come with a filter. We would recommend checking the bucket water level switch, part number PS992307, to fix the issue. When the water level in the collection tank reaches a certain level, the bucket water level switch gets triggered and sends a signal to the control board. If it is faulty, the dehumidifier may not collect water. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

led humidistat. The new one was put in place, the two wires were reattached. The knob was replaced. The top was positioned and its two retaining screws replaced. A magnetic phillips screwdriver was handy but not necessary. Piece of cake! Someone with ten thumbs could do it!! Thanks for the prompt courteous attention to the returned erroneous part! Dealing with partselect. Com was a pleasure. . . . . . Thanks!! P. S. The dehumidifier works like new now!!
