I received an answer from you folks about the fan will run to cool down when over is hot. I understand this. That is not my problem . I am a new owner of this house and have never used the oven. When everything is off i hear a low sound coming from the oven. Is this normal? Is it the fan? Baffling. Please help. Thanks

Good Day Nick. Thank you for your question in regards to your unit (Model Number ZSC2001FSS01). Based on our research, we have found the following: Clicks and fans blowing sounds are normal. The relay while cooking board is turning the components on and off. If you do not believe that these are what causing the sounds, you may need to replace the Turntable (PartSelect Number PS227932). You can order this part either online at our website www.PartSelect.com or by calling us by phone at 888-260-4310. Best Regards.

Hi Nick, Thank you for your question. The noise you hear when the microwave is off could be coming from the cooling fan. This fan protects the oven from too much heat inside the oven cavity. It automatically turns on at low speed if it senses mo much heat. The fan will automatically turn off when the internal parts are cool. It may stay on for 30 minutes or more after the oven control is turned off. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Microwave completely stopped working
Turned out the issue was easily solved by replacing a single, inexpensive fuse.

First off, UNPLUG THE MICROWAVE.

The fuse is located under the plastic grill at the top of the microwave. It's held on by two screws. Once you've removed the screws and taken off the plastic grill, you go to the right side of the microwave and remove another screw that holds a small metal grill in place. Removing the small metal grill is probably the toughest part of this repair. You kind of have to rock it back and forth a bit to get it to release. Once that's off, you can get to the fuse. I removed the burnt out one with a pair of needle nose pliers. I also put a small piece of cardboard under the fuse when I did this so I didn't accidentally drop it into the innards of the microwave. I did the same thing when I replaced the new fuse. I then plugged the appliance back in and made sure it worked. Once that was confirmed, I replaced both grills.

Microwave runs with the door open
Remove microwave outer cover. Turn on side & locate the upper & lower door switches. Better to replace in pairs even if one is ok. Remove the wire harness to each switch. Then replace switch and re connect the wire harness. Re attach outer cover
and test to see if that solved the problem. If so then well done!!
