Hi. I am trying to get the front control panel off in order to access the left front element as it will not turn on. I have taken all the screws off the front panel however it will not pull off aa indicated in your video. Am I missing something to do in order to get the panel off. I do not want to break anything! Thanks

Hello Gary, thank you for a very interesting question. According to our research, a lift-up is required on the top panel to release it. Push against the little mounting bracket across the front. Wiggle at the top a little bit from side to side while lifting and pulling. We hope this solves your problem!

Something Kitchen Aid wont tell you but running a self clean on this model stove blows the fuse located on the back of the stove.
First I slid the stove out and removed the back of the stove held in place by 8 Phillips screws. The thermostat fuse is located near the top middle on the back of the stove. Remove the 2 screws hold
... Read moreing it in place. Disconnect the wires, plug in the new part. Put it all back together. Job done in less than 30 minutes.
This repair would have cost $164 through A&E factory service.
