Washing machine stops mid-cycle and will only run intermittently.

Hello Karin, thank you for the question. We have narrowed the issue down to the part door lock assembly, part number PS12343346. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Removed 2 Hose clamps with pliers. Unplug power source from drain pump. Unscrew 2 mounting screws with 5/16" nut-driver then replace unit in reverse sequence...... Very simple.
after pulling pins and installing new shocks, the washer still made loud ,disturbing sounds during use. Did some more investigating, turns out the inner bearings on the drum are bad. Apparently a problem with this model. Probably why the original shocks broke in the first place.
