My cooktop recently began tripping the electrical breaker, would the fix be to replace the electrical harness or the spark module?

Hi Joe, Thank you for your question. If your gas cooktop is tripping the breaker, it may be sharing the same circuit as some other appliances in the house. When you turn it on there is too much power on that circuit and the breaker trips. If there are any loose connections in your cooktop, this may cause the breaker to trip. You will need to check the connections to verify if everything is fitted correctly. You may also need to have an electrician come out and verify what is going on. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.
