The metallic clip, or also known as a broil element support, is for a oven element on a range. This part holds the broil element in place on top of the oven. If your support clip is broken then this replacement should be the solution. The tools needed for this project are slip joint pliers. For safety precautions, make sure to unplug your range from the power source, or shut off the house circuit breaker before starting this project. Refer to the installation instructions for best results and accuracy.

broiling element had burned through, req. its replacement
First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I also removed a screw that held one end of a support bracket. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Reversing these steps, I finished the element's replacement.

I had noticed that the former element was sagging at the front end. I installed the additional clips (not original) on each forward end of the element for additional support. Read more...

The anti-tip bracket kit comes with one metal bracket and two installation screws, and is sourced directly from the genuine manufacturer. It prevents the freestanding oven, range, or stove from tipping when force or weight is applied to an open oven door. The bracket is secured to the floor and wall and fits over the rear leveling leg in the back of the appliance, in a cutout specifically designed for the anti-tip bracket. I was selling my home and did not realize that the anti-tip bracket was not originally installed. A home inspection caught the problem and the buyers required that I install one. I could not find the original and obviously the installer never put it in place to begin with. The buyers wanted this resolved within a week so I had to act fast. I could not find one locally so I found what I needed on your website. It arrived in a couple of days and was easy to install. I used the template provided in the kit and drove the screws through the bracket into the wood plate behind the drywall. Pushed the range back in place and that's it. Couldn't get any easier. Noisy like a chain rattling inside
Disconnect Power from the Dryer
Remove 2 screws that held the top on the dryer.
Removed the 2 screw that held the front on the dryer.
Unhooked the belt from the tensioner and motor pulley.
Pulled the drum out. Removed the belt.
Removed the three screws that held the bearing assembly
on the back of the drum.
Removed the keeper o-ring slide the bad bearing off of shaft. Slide the new bearing on the shaft put the new o-ring on the shaft. Reassembled the bearing on back of the drum. Put belt back around the drum and put drum back in place. Put The belt around the motor pulley and tensioner
(this is probably the hardest part).
Put the front and top back together.
