The Dryer's Lint Filter is used to collect lint during the dryer cycle as it passes through the dryer vent, in order to prevent damage to the machine. This manufacturer-approved part comes in gray, measures around 12 inches wide by 11 inches high, and is easy to install. It slides into the lint filter slot in your dryer. If there is visible damage to the screen then it's time to replace the part. We recommend that you thoroughly clean the lint filter before every load, but even with good maintenance, this hard-working part is often damaged or worn over time. If your dryer isn't drying quickly, the filter may be responsible. The manufacturer has made an authorized substitution to the lint filter. Special details: When replacing lint screen ADQ56656401 you may need to also replace lint screen housing MCK49049101 and lint screen guide MEA49050001 to prevent items from catching on the lint screen, depending on your model.

Door would not close
There is a magnet at the bottom of the door which allows the door to be held ajar when the washer is not in use to allow the tub and gaskets to dry. A tab on the plastic housing which retains the magnet broke which allowed the housing to pull free of the door and stick itself to the machine preventing the door to close. Washer pulsator was coming loose during wash cycle.
Since the old pulsator had actually come off during a wash cycle, I was able to place the new one on easily. Tightened the screw with a socket. Then placed the new cap on. Before placing the new pulsator on, I was able to clean all the mold and hard deposits off the mechanism under the pulsator. The hard deposits were also scrapped from the pulsator holding (where the screw goes) which may have caused the problem to begin with. Read more...

It did not drain water, cycle stops at rinse+spin.
1-Take water off manually. 2- Take machine to back yard. 3- lay machine 45 degrees. 4- Located water bump, (rear left side). 5-removed drain black hoses with hand. 6-removed 3 screws from bump frame. 7-Taker off all unit and marked down cable position at plug. 8- installed new pump. 9- Reverse all steps. Note: I did not use new cable supplied with the new bump, I did not want to mess around on mother board connections, I kept old wire harness which are only two cables blue and gray.
