Keep getting an he error. It looks like i need to replace the heating element.

Hello, Thank you for contacting us. I have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you’re looking for is Heater Assembly - Part# PS3527787
My unit is about 10 years old. I always press the power button, then the Power Scrub button to start a wash cycle. However, today, within a minute or 2 of starting a cycle, the error code FE is displayed; the cycle appears to halt (the lights on the display go out), but the audible sound of a motor running is still heard. Retrying three times produced the same result. The LG Customer Service line had me "flip the circuit breaker" to power cycle the unit, but the problem occurred when I tried it again. Any suggestions?

Hello Charles, thank you for reaching out. An FE error on your dishwasher indicates that your unit has experienced a fill error. The dishwasher has detected that there is too much water in the unit, and the drain pump is automatically turned on. We recommend you replace the float switch, part number PS3522787, to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
I'm asking about the cover on the inside of the door..it is your part num 355OED3011B. I thk it covers the chime. I took mine off thinking it was a filter..now i can't get it back on. It seems the chime (or whatever it is) is recessed such that I can't get the notches on the cover to fit into the grooves on the cover. Help would be appreciated.

Hi Eddie, thank you for contacting us. To install the cover, line the cover up so that it sits down into place and then turn it so it locks in. We hope this helps!

Hi, I have an LG lds5040st dishwasher that randomly throws an LE code about 1/2 to 3/4 way through its cleaning cycle. It also doesn't seem to be cleaning the dishes as well as it use to be. I did just replace the filter but it didn't seem to fix it. What else could be the issue on this model?
Thanks in advance,

Hi Kurt, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, the error code LE indicates that there is an issue with the motor. We would recommend replacing the circulation pump motor, part number PS3579321, to fix the issue. Glad to be of assistance!
Not a question but a comment. I had e-mailed in earlier that i was having trouble with the ne code coming on after the dishwasher had completed its cycle. It was recommended that the vario motor be replaced, which i did. The ne code was still appearing so it was pointed out through youtube tutorials that the position indicator switch might need replacing, which i did.The ne code was still appearing at the end of the cycle so i watched more youtube tutorials, and found that when replacing the vario motor, you need to remove the small plastic cam switch that slides over the stem on the back of the vario motor, which i had thrown away with the old motor. so after purchasing a new cam switch and putting back on the new motor, my dishwasher is running perfectly! i am very pleased that you could help me and have the exact replacement parts that i needed. you saved me a whole lot of money !
thank you, tony

Replacing the spring and connector assembly (the cord had frayed and broken) was easy and took only a matter of minutes to do. Because my kitchen is compact, I had to move the refrigerator first, then disconnect the Romex cable and water lines from th
