Ice maker is cycling but not making ice. I'm guessing it's the water inlet valve. Would that be a good assumption. Is there anyway to test this?
For model number EI32AF65JS0
Hello Greg, thank you for your question. If the appliance is working well otherwise, and the only issue is the icemaker, the problem would be either with the icemaker or the water valve. You can test the water valve to determine if that is the issue by instructions at this link.

We have a small water leak in the back of the stand alone freezer. It is coming from a small black component that has 5 x 5 holes right above the external drain opening. Doesn't appear to be a removable component and can't figure out what it is called.

Hi Craig, thank you for reaching out. The part that you are referring to is drip pan, part number PS2332150. A drain pan, located near the base of the freezer, is used to collect condensation after the freezer's evaporator coils have been defrosted. If the drain pan is cracked, water could be leaking on the floor below the appliance. Inspect the drain pan for damage and replace if necessary. We hope this helps!
Unplugged faulty ice maker, removed two screws holding it to the refrigerator and took it out. Reversed the operation with the new ice maker and after a few minutes presto, we have ice.
